In 2024, World Vision Mozambique reached 4.2 million vulnerable children — about a quarter of the country’s child population. Working with communities, government and partners, the organisation focused on health, education, child protection, livelihoods, emergency response and advocacy.
Key highlights include:
- Over 18,000 children vaccinated and 11.4 million mosquito nets distributed.
- Nearly 100,000 people gained access to safe water through new or rehabilitated systems.
- More than 22 million school meals served to over 93,000 children, supporting nutrition and school retention.
- Girls rescued from child marriage and reintegrated into school.
- Strong advocacy contributions, including to Mozambique’s Disability Act.
World Vision Mozambique continues to strive for a future where all children are safe, healthy, educated and valued.
