Developed in collaboration with the Council of Champions of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, the “Belém Declaration on Hunger, Poverty and People-Centred Climate Action” affirms that climate resilience is inseparable from social justice, and that sustainable development requires guaranteeing the human right to food. The Declaration will be formally adopted at the COP30 Leaders’ Summit of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
