Since December 2024, millions of Syrians have returned home seeking safety, stability, and a chance to rebuild. Instead, many have found communities scarred by destruction, poverty, and limited services. Children continue to face disrupted education, protection risks, food insecurity, and ongoing psychological distress. The findings highlight that returning home is not the end of displacement, but the beginning of a long recovery journey that requires sustained support for children and families to rebuild their lives and futures.
