World Vision International in Cambodia Reaches 1.3 Million Children In 14 Provinces and Phnom Penh

In 2022, World Vision International in Cambodia (WVI-C) worked closely with Local Authorities, partners and communities to support the Royal Government of Cambodia's COVID-19 recovery efforts - focusing on the most vulnerable children, youth and their families. Throughout the year, WVI-C positively impacted more than 4.5 million people, including 1.3 million children, across 14 Provinces and urban Phnom Penh.

CAST Project Factsheet

Commercialisation of Aquaculture for Sustainable Trade (CAST) project aims to accelerate the growth and development of freshwater aquaculture in Cambodia. The project works with hatcheries, fish producers, distributors, buyers and financial/insurance institutions through promoting Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary standards, providing training on Business Development Services, improving marketing and branding of Cambodia-raised fish, and strengthening value chain actors.

From surviving to thriving: How child sponsors are helping girls in rural Cambodia create safe communities

In rural Cambodia, widespread poverty has forced many adults to move to neighbouring Thailand in search of work, leaving children with extended family where they often face food shortages, miss out on schooling, and are at greater risk of violence. Girls like 18-year-old Phally have to overcome huge barriers to survive.
18-year-old Phally grew up in a family where her aunt had too many mouths to feed and not enough income to meet all of their needs.
