World Vision Donates Medical Supplies to Zambia's Ministry of Health worth $1,000,000 USD
World Vision Zambia has donated three 20-foot containers of medical supplies to Zambia's Ministry of Health. The supplies include 25 Electro Cardiogram Machines (ECG), Anesthesia Breathing Circuits, 300 Infrared Thermometers, 5,800 Covid-19 Testing Kits, Hospital Surgical Gowns, and Medical Gloves, among others.
Speaking during the donation ceremony, World Vision's National Director, Mr. John Hasse, stated that the organization is aware of Zambia’s progress in reducing child mortality. However, challenges remain in the areas of maternal and neonatal mortality.

60 children from Namwala district receive journalism and advocacy skills from World Vision Zambia
World Vision in Zambia uses Communications for Development (C4D), which enables community members to tell their own stories happening in their communities. It is a form of citizen journalism that expresses the needs and successes that are taking place and is told by the dwellers of the very community. Trained journalists train the community members in story-telling abilities to enable them to have basic skills to write stories that create awareness, understanding and trust for impact and influence.

New World Vision Zambia Study published in Panafrican Medical Journal Examines Factors Impacting Health Care Seeking for Under Five Children in Zambia
A recent study done by World Vision Zambia has shed light on the factors impacting health care-seeking behaviour for acute respiratory infections (ARI) and fever among children under five in Zambia.
The study, which was published in the Panafrican Medical Journal, aimed to identify the predictors of appropriate care seeking for ARI and fever in order to help policymakers improve health outcomes for children in the country.
