Called to Protect: Tissy Mwale's Story of Faith and Service

Every day, Tissy Mwale, our Humanitarian Protection Officer, walks alongside vulnerable children and families, standing between them and harm. Her work carries a weight many never see, assessing risk, coordinating referrals, and holding safe spaces for survivors to heal. 

This World Humanitarian Day, we honour Tissy and colleagues across Zambia who serve not for recognition, but because faith calls them to protect the least among us.
