Celebration of Niger's Women Day

Every year, Niger celebrates National Women's Day on May 13 in commemoration of the great march of Niger women in 1991 to demand more women in the preparatory committee of the national conference.

This celebration coincided with our month of partnership, providing an opportunity for World Vision Niger's leaders to express not only their unwavering support for women, but also our gratitude for women's contribution to improving the well-being of children.
