Ethiopia's triple crisis and World Vision's response

Monday, January 25, 2021

World Vision continues to assess the opportunities to resume life-saving work with communities in a region which is already poor, suffering the ravages of a desert locust infestation, the impacts of COVID-19, and now with compounded problems from insecurity and displacement.

We continue to coordinate actions with other humanitarian providers, and have already fast-tracked procurement of emergency shelter, health, WASH, and protection supplies worth US$300,000 readied for delivery for our seven Area Programmes in Tigray.
