What does childhood look like in a war zone?

For many children, it means separation from loved ones, interrupted education, constant threats to safety, and overwhelming stress.

In Dnipro, eastern Ukraine, children find moments of normalcy in spaces run by World Vision and local partner Arms of Mercy, where they can play, learn, and access critical psychosocial support – even amid war and displacement.

World Vision’s Advocacy and Communications Manager, Laurentia Jora, takes you inside these spaces to speak with children and psychologists who witness firsthand the impact of war.
