Incoming Director for Lesotho pays courtesy call to Her Majesty Queen 'Masenate Mohato Seeiso

World Vision's incoming National Director for Lesotho, James Chifwelu recently paid a courtesy call to the queen of Lesotho, Her Majesty Queen 'Masenate Mohato Seeiso, who has been World Vision's education champion in Lesotho since 2016.

James Chifwelu shares some of the details about his meeting with Her Majesty, noting that Her Majesty has agreed to go a step further from being World Vision's champion for education, to being the champion of child protection in order to address broader child protection issues. Formal discussion around this are set to follow.

World Vision engaged Her Majesty to support the organisation's advocacy efforts towards policy influence and change, for improved service delivery in different sectors such as education, child protection, health, livelihoods (economic development) and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
