A mother's day wish for Angela

Angela, 40, from Qaraqosh, Iraq has many wishes. Like many mothers, none of her wishes are for herself. Instead, they revolve around her four growing children: Rami, Miron, Behnan and Melad. 

 

“I don’t care about my needs. My children’s needs are my priority,” she says. 

 

After running away from the fighting, her family started from scratch. They had nothing. 

 

Her family is among the more than 32,000 families who receive World Vision’s food vouchers, supported by the World Food Program (WFP).
