Geneva

World Vision’s Geneva office works to influence United Nations programmes and specialized agencies, as well as other decision-makers based in the city, in order to connect policy with practice to achieve the fulfilment of the rights of the most vulnerable children of this world.

Geneva is among the world's leading centres for the promotion of sustainable economic and social development, humanitarian policy and emergency relief. Organisations in Geneva include the International Committee of the Red Cross, Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, UN Human Rights Council, UN Refugee Agency, World Health Organization and World Trade Organization. The Geneva office also works closely with the many non-governmental and civil-society groups located in the city.

The staff of the Geneva office focus on areas of accountability, child protection, health, humanitarian affairs, human rights, environmental and climate issues, civil-military-police relations, peace building, and sustainable economic development and trade.
