Chitongo Dam Sustains Namwala Community Through Devastating El Niño Drought
During last year’s El Niño drought, fields dried up, hunger spread, and children walked long distances in search of food and water. But in Namwala’s Chitongo community, the Chitongo Dam constructed by World Vision Zambia became a lifeline and gave hope.

RD Congo: Le BBB Célébré en Signe d’Espoir, de Joie et d’Engagement Communautaire à Malambwe
Cet article illustre la célébration du Birthday Bounce Back (BBB) organisée par World Vision à l’occasion du deuxième anniversaire du programme à Malambwe, en République démocratique du Congo. Plus de 1 200 enfants, parrainés et non parrainés, ont participé à cet événement festif axé sur la cohésion communautaire et la protection de l’enfance. La journée, rythmée par des activités culturelles et éducatives, a permis la distribution de fournitures scolaires, denrées alimentaires, et jouets. Des dons d’équipements scolaires et sanitaires ont aussi été faits à plusieurs écoles. Ce rassemblement a souligné l’impact positif du programme sur l’éducation, la santé et l’accès à l’eau, tout en réaffirmant l’engagement de World Vision envers le bien-être des enfants.
