Displaced people stream into all World Vision project areas
The North ADP, in the north of the country, had been the only ADP yet to have been affected by the movement of IDP’s, in the country.

A committee of five, including Mr. Hannah, has been formed to put a relief plan in place.
“All the village has come together to help the IDPs. As more families arrive, World Vision will intervene with mattresses, food and hygiene supplies,” continued Kozhaya.
The highest percentage of those families are from Dahiyeh in the Beirut suburbs that has witnessed extensive shelling from Israeli fighter jets.
World Vision Lebanon is now working around the clock to provide relief supplies to Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in schools and other temporary centers in all areas of the country.
A team of 9 World Vision staff and a just over 20 volunteers, are covering three ADP’s in the Beirut area, distributing food and hygiene supplies to 5,000 people who have sought refuge in Nabaa and Ain El Roumaneh ADPs, two of the three ADPs in Beirut.
All the village has come together to help the IDPs. As more families arrive, World Vision will intervene with mattresses, food and hygiene supplies Food supplies include, bread, cheese, tuna or sardine cans, jam and drinking water. Hygiene supplies include detergent, soap, shampoo and diapers.
World Vision Lebanon is also attempting to evacuate seven of its staff and their families, a total of 35 people, still stranded in the South. The evacuation process remains extremely hazardous due to the damaged infrastructure and the insecurity.
