Whilst crops have completely failed or have been poor due to last year's severe drought in Mali, 35 vegetable gardens set up with help from World Vision in Buwatun Area Development Program bring much needed relief to families. The garden depicted in this video provides a range of vegetables - lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, aubergine, pepper, onion and others - to 98 mothers and their families. When asked what their hopes were in such difficult times, the mothers said: "We just want to continue working, to grow vegetables. This garden is feeding our families and has brought us together."
