World Vision’s new report ‘Reduce Risk and Raise Resilience’ highlights climate change solutions that are already working in the Philippines, Vietnam and Bangladesh, but warns that much more needs to be done to protect vulnerable communities from increasing disaster risks linked to changing weather patterns. Developed country governments need to commit at least USD 150 billion per year to developing countries to support adaptation, mitigation and disaster risk reduction efforts if they are to help protect their citizens.
