The Asia-Pacific is home to billions of people, some of the worlds most vibrant economies and wonderful cultural variety. But it is also a region of massive diversity where the worlds poorest live alongside its richest and where millions die from easily preventable diseases. Children are among the most vulnerable to trafficking, disasters, conflict, dangerous labour conditions and extreme poverty.

World Vision is trying to make a difference by working across the region in slums and rural areas, on island states and landlocked nations, doing humanitarian work, speaking out on issues to governments and working to achieve long-term sustainable development. This is the region in which we work.
