Walter Chengo brings extensive experience in managing food assistance, cash-based transfers (CBT), and non-food item (NFI) projects. His strengths lie in program design, resource development, strategic planning, and stakeholder coordination. He is also highly skilled in assessments, logistics, capacity building, and reporting.

He is experienced in project design, contract negotiation, implementation oversight, and donor reporting. He engages with donors at project, national, and regional levels. Walter has worked with a wide range of donors, including Multilateral, Bilateral and Institutional donors. 

His area of expertise includes, management of food, cash, and NFI programmes; proposal and budget development for major donors; logistics and warehouse operations planning and execution; monitoring, data analysis, and comprehensive reporting.
