For three decades, we provided sustain able livelihoods to the disadvantaged and needy, improved quality of education, and empowered families and communities to seek access to their rights.

Whispers of Home in a Child’s Heart
Saya’s family is from Syria, but she was born in Turkiye. Saya is six years old and has three sisters—one younger and two older. Her family lived in Syria until her older sisters were three and one year old. They fled because the war had made their hometown too dangerous. Her father was the first to leave, traveling to Turkiye, and soon after, Saya’s mother and sisters joined him. Saya and her younger sister were born in Turkiye.

Engaging Faith Actors to overcome Harmful Social Norms and Practices: Fighting Violence Against Women and Children in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Preparing for her participation at the World Bank Fragility Forum in Washington, D.C., Dragana Bulic is increasingly alarmed by the recent research showing that youth in Bosnia hold more rigid views and gender stereotypes than adults. She will be speaking about World Vision’s work with faith actors to fight gender-based violence and violence against children at the forum.
