The Savings for Transformation (S4T) eWorkshop is a facilitated online learning programme designed to support practitioners whilst implementing their programmes.

Following a redesign of the S4T project model, which introduced new design and implementation guidelines, the eWorkshop has also been redeveloped. The updated eWorkshop now offers more interactivity, more video content, engaging group work, and exciting tasks. The new format is shorter, spanning ten (10) weeks instead of fourteen (14), yet still comprehensively covers everything needed to implement S4T.

S4T enhances financial resilience by enabling community members to save together in a safe, convenient, and flexible way.

  • Savings groups are owned, managed, and operated by their members using a simple, transparent method.
  • These groups accumulate and convert small amounts of cash into savings.
  • The group's savings can be lent to members as credit, helping parents and caregivers manage cash flow, generate income, and meet their families’ basic needs.

Here’s some additional information about the S4T eWorkshop:

Who is this course for?

It has been developed for World Vision staff and partners who are at the front line of promoting and supporting S4T in the communities where we work. The workshop will also be helpful for cluster/zonal leads who want to familiarise themselves with World Vision's approach.

Practitioners not in these categories are welcome to apply, and the team will assess whether the course is right for you.

SOMETHING NEW!
More and more S4Ts are going digital, so we will show you how that’s done with some great-looking movies and hands-on tasks.
