2025 had been a challenging yet productive year for World Vision in South Sudan. Despite funding cuts and growing humanitarian needs, we pressed on—guided by our faith and our commitment to serve. The year had been a testament that when Christ is placed at the centre of our work, hope endures and impact is possible, even in the most difficult circumstances.

As the Ukraine Crisis Response enters its fifth year, the war continues to devastate millions of lives, particularly children. Over the past four years, World Vision Ukraine has reached more than 2.3 million people, including over 1 million children, providing critical support in education, mental health, protection, cash assistance, livelihoods, basic needs services and winterisation.

Jane, a 19-year-old refugee from South Sudan living in Uganda, has reclaimed her independence and hope through the gift of a sturdy wheelchair. After losing the use of her legs as a child due to tuberculosis of the bone, she spent years crawling through her settlement, isolated and without prospects. Her life transformed when she received a new, purpose-built wheelchair through a World Vision Uganda project supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

World Vision rehabilitated an educational center in Chisinau, Moldova, designed to provide a space for children with disabilities to continue their activities after school hours. The center underwent vital cosmetic renovations and was fully equipped with essential furnishings, including couches, desks, shelves, carpets, and educational materials. This effort was made possible through the generous support of World Vision Finland.

In 2023, World Vision launched ENOUGH to end child hunger. In one year, it impacted 223M+ children through global advocacy and policy change.
