World Vision International Mongolia’s (WVIM) Child Development Protection Program (CDPP) had been organizing Smiling Child forum since 2001 with the main purpose of hearing children’s voices and providing them an opportunity and platform to increase their participation in society.
This year, WVIM’s child sponsorship program organised the 15th Smiling Child forum under the theme of Child participation in child monitoring, from 25-28 February 2016. The objective of this year’s forum was:
1. To involve children in child monitoring activities
2. To hear children’s voice
3. To share success stories
Totally 164 delegates from 30 Area Development Programs (ADP) have participated in this year’s forum. Delegates included representatives from child participation leading committees, representatives of Mongolian Pupil’s Federation and Mongolian Student Alliance.
