More than two million people affected by Syria Crisis supported by World Vision in 2016

Wednesday, March 8, 2017
Throughout 2016, World Vision's Syria Response reached nearly 2.3 million people - half of them children - inside Syria, and in the neighbouring countries of Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey and Iraq. Projects include education, child protection, Child Friendly Spaces, food and cash assistance, water, sanitation, health, and winter supplies. Programming in each country is different according to the context, requiring dedicated project assessment and management. Working with local partners, including non-governmental organisiations, community organisations and governments, is crucial to World Vision's success.
