A mobile library comes to Almon

My name is Almon, from Samalantan sub district, Bengkayang district in West Kalimantan. I am in the sixth grade of elementary school.
Today is special day in my sub village, because the Wahana Visi Indonesia's Children Friendly Car, a mobile library, visits us. From a distance we can see the car from our houses and we welcome the car by shouting, hurray, hurray!
This is not the first time the mobile library has visited us. The film titles we see at the mobile library are Bagas and Menur and Children Rights.
After we watch the film I know that there are four child rights. They are:
- The right to live
- The right to grow
- The right to get protection
- The right to participate.
As it is not easy to memorize, a facilitator teaches us learn the child rights using clapping.
Besides getting the opportunity to watch the films, we are also able to read books. There are a lot of books in the mobile library and we are allowed to read them but we are not allowed to damage the books or bring home the books. The facilitator trusts me to make sure that all children carefully use the books and put the books away neatly after reading them.
We have a library in my school it has not been functioned for long time. Thick dust covers the books.
We are happy that Wahana Visi facilitates the mobile library so that we can read and get knowledge from reading the books.
