“Don’t be silent! You are not alone” World Vision’s youth support victims of sexual violence in conflict

When the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict was held in June of 2014 in London, Suad, 19, represented World Vision and his peers from Youth for Peace network, as they united their voices with those of youth from around the world, representing 140 countries. Suad shared ideas and suggestions from his peers in Kosovo, about to how to end sexual violence in conflicts, globally.

Recently, to keep the issue in front of decision makers, the Youth for Peace group produced a video. More than 40 people came to the screening. After the video was shown, the participants broke into groups and talked about to help victims overcome their past. The video was shared on different social media channels, including channels outside of Kosovo.
