One step forward for #Peace

Monday, September 21, 2015

Today, on the International Day of Peace, more than fifty children and youth from different ethnicities of Kosovo (Serbian, Ashkali, Egyptian, Roma and Albanian), who are members of the #Peacebuilding project in Kosovo, gathered together at the city center to celebrate peace and tolerance with each other and with the passersby.

“No war, no discrimination! My desire is that peace can overflows all around the world,” said Redon, 13, a member from the Kids for Peace clubs.

They danced joyfully as one, made crafts (necklaces, bracelets) and handed them out to the people who passed by. They shared the importance of peace and wished them a happy International Day of Peace!

Here are some moments during their activities captured in pictures.
