Dreams from children in Sayam Forage refugee camp

We all have dreams, ambitions and desires, event thought, some of us will never, be able to realized them. Usually if they not nightmares, dreams are associated with positive events. Well, children from the forgotten crisis in the Lake Chad Basin region, have shattered dreams.

The crisis has completely disrupted education, livelihoods and daily life. Water, food and other necessities are scarce. Everyday survival has become a miracle. Feelings of home and safety are distant memories. Dreams of finishing school or securing employment have been dashed. And all the while, the future of an entire generation hangs in the balance.
