Toilets are more precious than you think!

Almost every person reading this article has direct access to a toilet. It is difficult to imagine life without access to water and safe sanitation services, yet hundreds of refugee children and their families in Lebanon are unable to meet these basic needs.  On “World Toilet Day”, World Vision takes pride in supporting vulnerable families in informal settlements with the provision of latrines and desludging services. We believe every child and family deserve a life outside poverty with full dignity.

This is a story from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, one of the areas where World Vision is implementing its Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program with the support of UNICEF, BPRM and the government of Canada.
