World Vision Mauritania Delivers Technical Supplies to the National Water Office

In October 2019, our water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) technical team made a donation worth 1,500,000 MRU ($40,000 USD) to the Office National de Service des Eaux En Milieu Rural (ONSR), represented by Mr. Hassane Gaye, delegate of the general manager.

This donation, in the form of mine equipment, pumps and solar panels, will enable the rehabilitation of seven boreholes in the localities of Kiffa, Kankossa, Barkeol, Aleg, Kaédi and Bababé and will meet the drinking water needs of more than 20,000 people in these communities.
