On Thursday, August 4, an emergency team of World Vision moved to Dolo Town, in Somalia, to identify the most urgent needs of hundreds of IDPs from Somalia arrive every day at the border with Ethiopia.

Dolo Town is considered one of the transit camps larger border, arriving there every day around 2,000 people.

Currently, more than 10,000 Somali refugees have passed through Dolo Town as a requirement for entry in Dollo Ado (Ethiopia), and according to United Nations statistics, 87% are under 18 years of which one in three are children under five suffering from severe malnutrition.

"It is devastating to see the number of children who have been forced to flee their homes due to lack of food," explains Charles Owubah, Team World Vision East African regional, and adds: "So help carry children is our top priority. "

After the team will identify the main needs, and are being distributed medicine, pharmaceutical material and foods with high protein like nuts. In coming days if possible establish child care centers to meet the psychological needs of children.
