Wednesday, March 22, 2017

World Vision Papua New Guinea, with support from the Australian Government and World Vision Australia, collaborates with the Provincial Health Office, Burnett Institute and local partners to bring quality Tuberculosis (TB) treatment and care closer to communities in Daru Island, Western Province. Through strategically located treatment sites in communities called Daru Accelerated Response for TB or DART sites, people undergoing TB treatment can now do so right at the convenience of their "backyards". Nutritional support are also distributed everyday to keep their bodies strong and healthy and more able to cope with the treatment regimen.
