World Vision East Asia is driving transformational change across one of the world’s most vulnerable regions, reaching over 5.4 million people, including 2.4 million children, through locally-led, multi-sectoral programs. By addressing the root causes of child vulnerability, such as poverty, climate shocks, malnutrition, and weak protection systems, World Vision is reshaping futures through education, health, livelihoods, and child protection.

In 2024 alone, World Vision contributed to 189 policy changes, influencing national budgets and systems to prioritize child well-being. With 99% of its workforce from the region, the organization ensures solutions are contextually grounded and community-owned. Strategic partnerships with governments, ASEAN, civil society, and youth platforms amplify impact and elevate children’s voices in shaping inclusive, resilient development.

From climate-smart agriculture and disaster preparedness to inclusive education and safe migration, World Vision’s integrated approach is building a more just and hopeful East Asia. Innovation, evidence-based advocacy, and a commitment to safeguarding ensure that every child not only survives but also learns, thrives, and leads change.
