The Engaging Citizens to Improve Service Delivery Through Social Accountability implemented by World Vision International–Cambodia (WVIC), supports Cambodia’s Social Accountability Framework (ISAF) to strengthen citizen participation in improving the quality, transparency, and responsiveness of public services. The project is funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development/International Development Association (IBRD/IDA) and World Vision Australia (WVA) and is implemented across 10 provinces through partnerships with local civil society organizations and Community Accountability Facilitators (CAFs).
The project aims to improve the performance of public service providers through improved transparency, strengthened citizen engagement and responsive action. By 2026, ISAF extension will launch the institutionalization and enhanced sustainability of ISAF processes for the long term conclude with evidence of significant service delivery improvements and increased responsiveness of local sub-national administrations.
