Monday, January 19, 2026

World Vision International has been operating in Burkina Faso since 2021, supporting the Government’s efforts to improve the well-being of the most vulnerable children. The organisation works in the sectors of food security, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health and nutrition, as well as child protection in the regions of Yaadga, Kuilsé, Liptako, Bankui, Sourou, Guiriko, Gulmu and Kadiogo.

The SAVE Plus project is a multisectoral initiative aimed at supporting vulnerable populations affected by the humanitarian crisis in the regions of Bankui and Sourou. Its objective is to ensure that internally displaced persons, as well as the most vulnerable members of host communities in the communes of Dédougou, Djibasso, Solenzo, Nouna and Tougan, receive high‑quality multisectoral assistance to meet their protection, nutrition and WASH needs.
