World Vision’s work in Eastern Europe, initially shaped by responses to crises, has evolved into a strong focus on locally led development to ensure sustainable impact. The organization has invested in civil society, supporting the growth of locally registered and led civil socities across Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Moldova.

Today, World Vision contributes to EU accession-related policy processes, supports reforms, and promotes European values. In partnership with governments and civil society, it empowers children and youth through social entrepreneurship while strengthening civil societies to deliver quality, innovative, and digitally enabled services.

Please note that this work in selected Eastern European countries represents only one part of World Vision’s broader efforts across the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
