Guatemala: Our meals, our voice
Download
In Guatemala, World Vision is advancing child-led research on school meals through its SUFICIENTE (ENOUGH) campaign, placing children’s voices at the forefront of advocacy and programme design. Children led the research process by conducting interviews, focus groups, and surveys to explore the realities of school meal programmes in their communities.
Their findings reveal critical challenges, such as gaps in access and quality, while also highlighting their hopes for a future where every child receives nutritious meals at school. This initiative not only reflects the priorities of Guatemalan children but also strengthens national and global efforts to ensure that school meals support learning, health, and dignity for all.
