Indonesia: Our meals, our voice
Download
In Indonesia, World Vision’s School Meals Child-led Research initiative, part of the global ENOUGH campaign, places children at the heart of efforts to improve school meal programmes. Through a combination of interviews, focus groups, and surveys, child researchers gathered insights from their peers, uncovering key challenges such as food quality, accessibility, and cultural relevance.
This participatory approach highlights not only the barriers children face but also their aspirations for a future where every student enjoys nutritious meals that support learning and well-being. By amplifying children’s voices in national and international advocacy, the initiative calls for inclusive, child-informed solutions to strengthen school nutrition across Indonesia.
