Lebanon: Our meals, our voice

In Lebanon, World Vision’s School Meals Child-led Research initiative, part of the global ENOUGH campaign, places children at the centre of efforts to improve school nutrition. Through interviews, focus groups, and surveys, child researchers gathered insights from their peers, uncovering key challenges such as food quality, accessibility, and the impact of economic instability on school meals. 

This participatory approach highlights both the barriers children face and their aspirations for a future where every student enjoys nutritious meals that support learning and well-being. By amplifying children’s voices in national and global advocacy, the initiative calls for inclusive, child-informed solutions to strengthen school meal programs across Lebanon.
