World Vision launches “I’m Wearing the 10 for Children,” a regional campaign mobilising action to protect children across Latin America.

Rev. Alex, a pastor in South Sudan, found new hope through Empowered Worldview training. He learned that true change starts with the mind and heart. With his wife, he began a small business and farming, harvesting 19 bags of groundnuts. He now trains other pastors to be self‑reliant, helping churches move from dependence to dignity.

In the Koutiala region, particularly in the municipalities of Zanina and Fakolo, in the M’Pessoba district, challenges related to agriculture are an integral part of the daily lives of the communities.

In Zambia’s Mwinilunga District, heavy rains cause erosion and nutrient loss, while changing weather patterns and dry spells challenge farmers to manage water resources effectively.

As part of its disability inclusion efforts, World Vision Zimbabwe continues to work closely with the Ministry of Health to ensure children like Answer receive the care and support they deserve.

To commemorate International Environment Day 2026, World Vision DRC’s Kinshasa Cluster brought together local authorities, schools, and community members in Ngandu, Kimbanseke, to promote environmental protection and climate action. Through awareness sessions, waste management demonstrations, tree-planting activities, and the distribution of waste bins to schools, the event highlighted the crucial role of children and communities in building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

That situation began to change after the family joined the Aleamandro Farmer Group under the Uganda Refugee Resilience Initiative (URRI) Programme and was introduced to nutrition-sensitive agriculture, a farming approach designed to address both food shortages and poor diets at the same time.
