Annual Progress Report Fiscal Year 2022
World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) is a part of the World Vision International global partnership operating in more than 100 countries. WVI started its long-term development programme in Nepal since in 2001 to contribute for well-being of children. At present, WVI Nepal has long-term development programmes in 16 districts namely Udayapur, Sarlahi, Mahottari, Rautahat, Sindhuli, Kathmandu, Lamjung, Lalitpur, Jumla, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Achham, Doti, Dailekh, Jajarkot, and Bajhang across six provinces of Nepal.
In FY22, WVI Nepal received funding from multiple funding streams. From private donors, our twelve World Vision support offices were Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Singapore, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. The bilateral, multilateral and Foundations were the Department of Foreignh Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Start Fund Nepal, Astellas Foundation and The Lego Foundation.

Una buena alimentación es indispensable para todas las niñas, niños y adolescentes, incluidos los migrantes
En Venezuela, solo el 9% de los niños entre 6 y 23 meses de edad se alimentan con cinco o más grupos de alimentos. En otras palabras, la falta de acceso a los alimentos en los hogares es evidente.
Esta es una de las principales razones por las que las familias deciden salir de Venezuela. En los países de acogida buscan que sus hijos tengan una alimentación balanceada; sin embargo, eso no ocurre de inmediato, en la mayoría de los casos. Por eso, World Vision, junto a socios y donantes, trabajan para que en los hogares migrantes no falte una alimentación balanceada para todos los miembros de las familias.

In alignment with our five-year strategy (FY21-FY25), FY23 marks a three-year successive implementation of the strategy. The organisation continued to align its efforts to the strategy objective, in full recognition of the changes in the implementation environment or context.

Young and Married
In 2021, World Vision launched the ‘Listening to Child Brides’ research, carried out in Bangladesh, Mauritania, Nepal, and Tanzania, with the overarching aim of identifying the experiences and needs of married girls and young women.
