Ending Child Hunger and Malnutrition in Asia and the Pacific

Asia and the Pacific are home to 60% of the world's 1.8 billion young people. This youth population faces significant challenges, including rising rates of hunger, stunting, and wasting. Despite this, there's a critical data gap in understanding the true scale of malnutrition in the region.

World Vision has directly engaged with children in Asia and the Pacific, who share firsthand experiences of hunger and its devastating effects. They've seen peers, especially girls, drop out of school and become more vulnerable to violence due to lack of food. They recognise the value of government-led school feeding programs and kitchen gardens as sources of nutrition and learning.

Food insecurity in the region is a complex issue, tied to social, political, and economic factors like migration and climate change. As a child-focused organisation, World Vision is committed to ensuring every child has the right to be well-nourished and healthy. We are determined to end hunger and malnutrition by working alongside children, families, governments, businesses, donors, and partners.

Let us help ensure children in our region have ENOUGH nutritious food to eat.  Join the call for a world where every child enjoys enough nourishing food so they can thrive by adding your name above. #SDG2endchildhungerandmalnutrition
