The 5th "Big Bonfire" festival was held in Gavar

Оn October 26th, the 5th "Big Bonfire" festival was held in Gavar, Gegharkunik Marz. The visitors had a chance to try not only the taste of potatoes baked in the fire but also the traditional dishes and sweets of Gavar. The potato producers groups of Gandzak and Sarukhan communities founded by World Vision Armenia treated the guests with their warm-hearted hospitality.

National songs and dances, various competitions accompanied the celebration. First time the event was organized in 2015 with the initiative of local farmers of Gandzak community. This year the festival was organized in cooperation with Gegharkunik Regional Administration.
