A solar-powered water supply system to fight hunger and malnutrition in Burkina

World Vision has installed a solar-powered water supply system in Tanghin, enabling vegetable farmers to irrigate their plots year-round. 

In February, Jean-Baptiste Kamaté, Chief of Operations for World Vision International, visited Burkina Faso to explore several projects in urban and peri-urban areas. During his visit, he met with beneficiaries and saw the infrastructure in place.
