Cash assistance provides much-needed support for families affected by Beirut blast

Through cash assistance, World Vision teams in Lebanon were able to provide unrestricted support to more than 1,200 families left in extremely vulnerable situations following the explosion in Beirut, Aug. 4, 2020. Families used the cash to pay for food, medicine, rent and repairs to their homes, among other things. "They saved me and my family," said one grateful father.
