The people of Lebanon need help to survive; recover

Friday, August 7, 2020

World Vision staff talk about life on the ground just days after a catastrophic blast tore through Beirut, destroying the port, injuring thousands and leaving as many as 300,000 homeless.

"Life is chaotic..." and "There isn't enough shelter" are two ways they have described the situation.

But, there's hope. The people of Lebanon are resilient. World Vision has been working in Lebanon since the onset of the civil war in Lebanon in 1975 and continues to assist Lebanese families in addition to refugee communities through emergency relief, development projects, as well as advocacy.

With your help, we will continue to walk along side the most vulnerable people in Lebanon
