Since confirmation of the first COVID-19 case in Niger back in March this year, World Vision has been committed alongside the Government of Niger to protect communities from the spread of the virus and its effects, through a $250,000 response plan targeting over 3.2 million people (including over 1.6 million children). Fundraising through internal and external channels has allowed us to reach our target with over 3 million people so far (including 1.6 million) children through various projects in just the first six months of the response.
