From Waste to Work

Urban Programming

Rapid urbanisation in Kenya is resulting in an increasing population within informal settlements without access to basic social services like water, health and sanitation, solid waste management.

This video highlights a project in Kariobangi and Korogochi slums within Nairobi City where youth groups are addressing this inequality whilst developing their entrepreneurship skills to run waste management as a business.
