Mireta Petraj serves as Director of Programme Strategy, Quality and Impact at World Vision Ethiopia, providing strategic leadership for integrated programming, evidence, learning, accountability, and impact. She leads the function that brings together technical expertise and MEAL to strengthen programme quality, coherence, and measurable change for children and communities.

Mireta brings experience across Albania, the United States, and nine countries in Eastern and Southern Africa, including Ethiopia, where she has provided programme quality support and strategic oversight since 2015. She has played a central role in shaping World Vision Ethiopia’s FY26 to FY30 Strategy, with a strong focus on integrated, child-centred, evidence-led programming.

Known for her steady leadership and commitment to excellence, Mireta brings strategic perspective, practical problem-solving, and operational clarity to complex organisational challenges. She is committed to building strong teams, accountable systems, and a culture of quality and learning that delivers sustainable impact at scale for the most vulnerable children.
