March 8 is International Women's Day

March 8 is International Women's Day.

On this day, World Vision Lao celebrates with all women around the world.

When we give rural women accesses to health care services, education, productive agricultural and protection. We empower them. They, in turn, can contribute more to alleviating on child health, hunger and boosting the ability of their community’s development. We believe that empowering women is an essential part of fighting poverty.

This year's theme is "Make It Happen" in Lao.
