World Vision Solomon Islands has new Country Director

March 29th, 2018, Honiara - World Vision Solomon Islands has a new Country Director - Migena Shulla, from Albania, South Eastern Europe. 

Migena is a highly motivated and committed humanitarian and development professional with 15 plus years’ experience in the Middle East/Eastern Europe region and Asia. 

She is passionate about investing highly in the development of people and especially in nurturing emerging leaders. 

She has a proven record of inspiring and supporting her team to embrace the vision and make it a reality in a given context. 

Migena is a senior leader with well-rounded experience in operational and program quality which she has gained and applied throughout her career. 

She has been working for World Vision for the past 11 years in various roles and comes to Honiara from her last post with World Vision in Laos.

Migena and her husband, Aurel, moved to Honiara this month with their 13-year-old son, Tedi. They are looking for opportunities to worship and serve in a local Church. 

She has commenced her new role as Country Director of World Vision Solomon Islands on 12th March 2018. 

World Vision Solomon Islands is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. It currently employs around 130 staff members including Solomon Islanders and expatriates.
